Participation in the National Opening Ceremony of the “International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists”

The National Opening Ceremony of the “International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists,” jointly organized by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, officially commenced today at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum.

Herders from Arkhangai and Uvurkhangai aimags are participating in the event.

The international opening ceremony of the International Year was held in December last year in Rome, Italy, where Executive Director Dr. D.Burmaa and young herder Ts.Munkhtsetseg from Uyanga soum, Uvurkhangai aimag, took part and delivered speeches.
