
Representatives from the Green Gold- Mongolian Rangeland Research Center (GGMRRC) and the Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS), including School of biotechnology and animal science, conducted a study visit to Lanzhou University in Gansu Province, China, from March 16–20, 2026, to initiate collaboration and exchange experiences.

During the visit, the parties agreed to collaborate on expert exchange programs, joint summer training courses, and research activities related to greenhouse gas emission measurement and assessment.
As an initial step of this partnership, one specialist from GGMRRC and one from MULS are currently participating in a one-month training program at Lanzhou University.

This collaboration is expected to significantly contribute to strengthening Mongolia’s capacity in sustainable rangeland management, livestock science, and greenhouse gas monitoring and research. We would like express highest gratitude to Professor Ruijun Long team.
