GGMRRC participated as a panelist in a COP17 side event organized by Wollken Studio and Green Steppe NGO to discuss sustainable pastoralism, certification, and export opportunities for Mongolian livestock products.
GGMRRC shared its experience in implementing the Responsible Nomads Standard (MNS 6891:2025) and highlighted how cooperation among herders, cooperatives, the private sector, and government can increase product value, improve herders' incomes, and contribute to reducing land degradation and desertification.
The event concluded that stronger public-private partnerships and an internationally recognized certification system are essential for promoting sustainable pastoralism and increasing the competitiveness of Mongolian products in global markets.
