As part of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), the National Green Lab was organized event on pitch. the Green Gold – Mongolian Rangeland Research Center (GGMRRC) presented its project on measuring soil carbon in Mongolia’s rangelands.

Representatives from government, financial and development organizations, and the private sector participated in the event. Discussions focused on opportunities to attract investment into Mongolia’s green economy, mobilize domestic and international investment for green projects, strengthen the enabling policy environment, develop blended finance mechanisms, and explore opportunities for accessing international carbon markets.
